Canadians Considering Moving to South Africa - Information Required

Hello,
An employment opportunity has come up within my family and we are considering moving to South Africa. As excited as I am with this possible new experience, the other part of me is scared to dealth. We would like to make an informed decision on this life changing event and would like to ask if there are any Canadians that are currently living in South Africa that could offer us some guidance and/or words of wisdom. Any information would be greatly appreciated on what we should be considering, what is it like living there, what kind of medical insurance is there...things like that.
