• To the new yorker, whose family were shunned by a family of greeks: it is only that the so-called Greeks, born and raised in America, are taught, from birth, that they are a superior group and they exlude EVERYONE... whether those others are from Turkey, Ireland, Italy or New York. Greeks, similar to the South Koreans, do not wish for assimilation in the USA. They keep to themselves... generation after generation after generation. It is horrible and stupid, but that's the way it is.
