Amsterdam living costs

• Living in Amsterdam and in Holland in general is not cheap. Fortunately it is cheaper thatn other European countries though. Amsterdam is more expensive that the rest of the Netherlands, however only for rent.
  
  The cost of living in Amsterdam depends a lot on your lifestyle as well. You can find shared rooms from 250 euro's upwards, however you will be living in a shithole, excuse my French. I live in Amsterdam for a few years, and must say that if you want to live reasonable, you will end up spending approximately 800 - 1200 euro's a month.
