judging because of any skin color is wrong.

• i am a white south african and i had to leave my country because i simply could not find a job. i went to the us for several years and am getting ready to marry an american girl. if you think i'm going to take her to a country where she could get raped and murdered because she is white you are out of your mind. i have to be able to work and support my family, and i want to be able to get some sleep at night and not worry about if we are all going to be shot in our beds. i've listened to black south africans blame the whites and whine, whine whine because they won't stand up and try to better their own situation. it's been 14 years since apartheid...get the f*** over it. sa is fast on the road to becoming a third world country and all the blacks in power want to do is blame the white people. oh, and we never had gardeners or any black servants--we did all our housework ourselves, in my family. so don't patronize me. i have to watch my country fall to pieces because of the idiots running it, and know that i will never be able to live there again because i won't be able to support my family. my kids will not return home from their sa schools, they won't speak with an sa accent, and afrikaans will just be "those weird words that papa speaks." it'll just be a place on the map to them, and pictures in a national geographic magazine. they won't be close to their sa grandparents. i loved my country and not being able to bring my family home to it is heartbreaking--but i won't risk their safety and let my kids learn that black people deserve to put one over on them because of previous generations of white people, which they had no control over.
