Response to a question

• What I want Observer (18 Dec) to explain is who are his S African bruthas and sistas? He says that he is an African American and I still am totally confused by this terminology - surely you are either African or American! I am a white woman who was born in South Africa and therefore I am African. I was born here and this is my country and I am proud call myself a South African and also of the fact that I have white and black bruthas and sistas. Maybe Observer can tell me I door I should be shown! My father was born in SA of Scottish decent and my mother was born in USA of English decent, but I have no inclination to even visit these countries. So maybe Observer and I along with billions of other people who ethnically are living on other continents due to circumstances in the past should find an uninhabited planet that we can populate without any talk of which country in which one belongs! I am absolutely horrified by some of the twisted and hate filled comments that I have read on this site.
