Any other writers out there?

• I'm a new arrival in Germany, not speaking the language. Was a magazine editor and journalist at home. Performance poet before that. Any like-minded souls out there? Or any brave person who wants to try teaching me the rudiments of German in return for English? Probably by email 'cos I'm scared to leave the appartment. I have a university degree in English language/literature.

  if you are in Germany.. why don´t you look for another better possibility to learn German in a easier way??
  If you go to a School i think it would be better in many ways for you..you have the possibility to meet another Foreing people that like you are going to try to learn the Lenguage..it is very exiting and interesstin to know about another culturs.. and some schools are really cheap.. for example the VHS (Volkshochschule)..
  and i´m curious.. why are you scared to leave your appartment?? Germany, exepting some areas, is relativ safe.. where do you live? maybe you can contact people inthis Foro and you could make some friends.. it is very importnat that you look for the people, specially German people, if you want to live in Germany.
