Austrian wife, American husband

• Hi! I'm Austrian and my boyfriend is American. He wants to move to Austria now and we want to get married soon. Does he have to wait for five years now until he's legally Austrian? Is he allowed to work in Austria legally until then? Please help me!

  hey, yeah me and my girl friend have the same problem. i am Australian and she is Austrian and we would like to live in Austria..but it seams impossable unles we get married. all the consulets have been no help what so ever. anyone in the same situation please help!
