Donald Trump investments in Canada
He announced a few months ago an investment in Toronto:
---
Trump Toronto approved at 70 storeys
The Donald's planned hotel/condo project in downtown Toronto received final permission from the Ontario Municipal Board yesterday for a 2 storey increase. Although the tower had already been approved by City Council quite some time ago, the OMB has final say in these matters and Trump’s recent request for an additional 2 floors cast a definite, albeit dim, shadow of doubt on the project’s future.
The extra storeys were, according to the developers, added to accommodate supplementary hotel features that would ensure its proposed 5-star stature. However, suggestions of competition with rival developer Harry Stinson and his bu>171040 are not to be discounted either. In the end, the OMB found little to impede Trump’s venture at Bay & Adelaide streets, noting "if there is an area where skyscrapers with wondrous architecture are to be showcased, this area is pre-eminently suitable."

LOS ANGELES - Donald Trump is leaving New York to fire people on the West Coast. NBC announced Tuesday that "The Apprentice" has been picked up for a sixth season and will be shot in Southern California.
The New York-based Trump will continue to star in the reality show, in which candidates compete for a job with the real estate mogul.
"Donald has so many recent West Coast projects, that it made perfect sense to change locations," the show's creator Mark Burnett said in a statement.
Among Trump's California holdings is the Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes.
