Prices in France

• I would like to know how cheap or expensive France is. I am planning to live in Paris for 6 months and will be bringing US Dollars. I know that the Dollar is not very strong against the Euro anymore, so my question is, will 50 Dollars a day be enough to get by on in Paris?

  You may be able to get by on €40/day in Paris, but you will hovering around the poverty line. In the cheapest hostel you might have a bit spare for a sandwich and a metro ticket. If you are just wanting to come to France, you might want to consider looking at a cheaper place to go.

  50$ for a day, no problem.
  It is really sufficient.
  1500$ for a month is more than most of french that are living in Paris.
