leaving/re-entry visa

• We are in Riyadh under husbands iqama, through his work. We want to go back to Canada, while my husband stays here and works. We want to return to Riyadh next summer. Do we need forms from schools in canada to show that my children are enrolled so that they can allow us to re enter riyadh in summer. All schools are closed for summer, and we were going to register them right before school started.
  What does the embassy here require from us to let us leave for a whole year?
