I'm sixteen, from malaysia, male.
Im wondering which school is the best for international students around Doha,Qatar. I only can start my schooling by January. Is it okay for me to enroll for the second term? And which is better? GCSE (O-levels) & A-levels or I.B. ?08 Jul 2006, 08:25 Anonymous

Hey
I am currently doing A levels. I find it pretty challenging! GCSE's are challenging too sometimes you may have to resit a subject in order.
If i were in your place, i would do IB, there are very few schools that teach that here. Altho it is very good education.
However the British system has a higher education that is seen all over the world. If you wasnt to go to college in the States, Canada or Australia; then you are better off doing GCSEs/ A Level (btw GCSE is year 10-11 and A Level is 12)
If you are willing to go to university in those countries you have a better chance of getting in than locals that do their system, becuase the British system is higher.

forgot to mention
You HAVE to do GCSE in order to do A Levels. Many schools would say to get at least 5 passes in GCSE to get into A Levels.
