new EUmember countries

hello,
my nationality is slovakian, but I've been working and living in Austria for a couple of years now. Since I'm married to an Austrian, I don't need a working permit in Austria. Does this regulation apply also in France ? Would I need a working permit in France?
thanks for your reply19 Feb 2005, 11:46 Anonymous

Work permit
As you are married to a EU national (old EU), you should not have any problems getting a work permit. Unfortunately, I think you will still need to get one as France has kepy quotas on new member countries until some (undefined) date in the future.
