Need another option?

• My girlfriend is a US citizen... she lives in a fairly poor family, and although she is extremely smart and great with computers she has neither formal post-secondary education nor related work experiance (mostly because she has no way to get to a job).
  
  According to the CIC self-assessment, she would not qualify for immigration to Canada.
  
  She can't go to school because she has no money, she can't get a job because she has neither a formal education nor transportation to that job, and things are steadily getting worse for her where she is.
  
  Does she have any other option?

  To ammend that further, I am a born and raised Canadian citizen, fully established with a home and stable job. She would have no trouble finding work here, as there is a desperate shortage of labour of all types... the IT sector included.
