Moving to Bahrain for One year contract
-
My husband is currently going for an interview for a large financial company in Bahrain and I'd like to know a bit more about what to expect: What type of property could we get for around £2000 a month (I think that's about BHD 1500?). We are both in our 40's with no children. Would we be able to get a villa or apartment with a sea view for this kind of money? What is the cost of living like in Bahrain compared to the UK? What are good areas to rent in (not too noisy but close to ammenities)? What areas would you advise we steer clear of?

hi
you can defeinetly get an excellent flat or even fully furnished villa with this amount. The new projects at Amwaj Island are very nice with sea view...etc.
Juffair is also a good area for expats but it's a bit crowded...
good luck
