  I am constantly working to increase the quality of my life. I am a realist who believes that my success is entirely up to me. I am a go-getter in all aspects and I always work to add value and make a difference. My career objective is to work in an environment that will enable me to utilize my skills thereby benefiting my employer and me in the process. I have spent the past 3 years working for BP Southern Africa (one of the world’s foremost energy companies). I joined the company as a management trainee in 2005 and trained in the Sales division where I learnt Channel management, key account management, relationship development, people management and communication skills. The program lasted a year. I was then upgraded to a Business advisor position where I worked with a 7 member multinational team tasked with studying South Africa's emerging market and identifying a business opportunity for my employer. I was tasked with identifying our target consumer’s highly ranked needs in relation to what our company could offer and using this information to develop product concepts ideal for this market. After the successful completion of this phase we entered a phase where we had to develop the concepts into products that were to be tested and piloted in the identified market. At this stage I had a new position as a product development manager for the team, a position I held till I left the company at the end of August 2007.
